Moin, moin and welcome to the shanty choir Privateer from Rhede: “The smile in the Münsterland”.

The shanty choir Shantychor Freibeuter Rhede (In English, “Privateer from Rhede”) is a maritime singing group and we want to keep up the tradition of shanties and sea shanties with our singing.

Our traditional singers represent a shanty choir, which, with its respectable repertoire, is enthusiastically accepted by the audience, at the diverse performances and in public beyond the borders of our city. This confirmation strengthens the joy of sea shanties, motivates to greater performance and shows that the course is right.

If the spark jumps over to the audience, we have reached our goal! Our music not only makes the guests happy, but also ourselves.
