ShantyFolk are a landlocked acapella shanty crew based in Lavenham, Suffolk who love singing shanties and also the occasional folk song, when nobody is looking ! They have been together since 2014, having met in a mixed community choir, and enjoy entertaining local clubs, organisations and fundraisers as well as performing at maritime festivals. Audiences enjoy their blend of voices and harmonies and also the fascinating stories behind the songs of the sea.
