We are She Shanties, a women’s shanty crew. We are women. We sing shanties.
Eleven women brought together by the love of singing. They sang at festivals in the UK and Europe, on boats, in a lighthouse, in churches and in a surprising number of women’s toilets… but they probably prefer bars and refreshments… 2018 saw the release of their first full album, Futtock Shrouds followed a few years later by Lubber’s Hole. The adventure (and the search for pieces of ships with funny names) continues.
