From a Hay Shantymen Facebook Post on 11 Dec 2023: “It is with huge sadness that we announce the death of one of our Shantymen. David Hobden had been singing tenor with us for a few years. A good friend, and an all-round wonderful chap. RIP, Dave, we will all miss you hugely. Our hearts go out to Sheila and the rest of the family.”
