Olivia Harding was a member of Brown University’s sea shanty club, ARRR!!! She was a part of the New England maritime music scene, attending the Mystic Seaport Sea Music Festivals and associated with many of the significant performers in the area. After honing her musical craft she began performing at American renaissance festivals, today entertaining with the successful and popular group, Music the Gathering.
She publishes a podcast, Folk Files, which seeks to uncover the mysteries of folk music through the ages and dive deep into the tangled history of murder ballads, sea shanties, rebel songs, and other music that has withstood the test of time.
