Overview

The Brew City Shanty Sing is a regular gathering of maritime music aficionados in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA.  The group was founded by Sarah Warran, a local environmental theater performer and trained vocalist.  The group currently meets at Layman Brewing in West Allis, Wisconsin, which is owned by Sarah and her husband, Kyle.

We’re an informal Milwaukee area sea shanty sing that meets the third Thursday of each month from 7:00-9:00(ish) pm at Layman Brewing in West Allis, Wisconsin.  No experience or singing skill necessary, however enthusiasm and a sense of humor are required. Come join us! Lyrics are available or bring your own to share with the group.
