Felixstowe Folk & Shanty Festival

The Felixstowe Folk & Shanty Festival was held in this Suffolk town on 21 – 22 June 2025 at Martello P Tower and the Two Sisters Arts Centre, Trimley St. Mary, Felixstow. The festival is also seen to be sometimes referred-to as the “Two Sisters Folk and Shanty Festival” and also the “Trimley St. Mary Shantycafe.”

Note: The most recent and second Mariners Shanty Festival, also held in Felixstowe was held 31/8/2024, but did not appear in 2025. An event entitled “Felixstowe Shanty Cafe” was held 9/5/2026, organised by the Felixstowaways.

There was also a “Trimley St. Mary Shantycafe” event entitled the Felixstowe Shanty Festival, held between the 12th and 14th of June 2026 with a programme seen to be held by Hoy Boy at “The Triangle” in Felixstowe on Saturday 13th June and by various performers in the Two Sisters Arts Centre on Sunday 14th June

Two Sisters Arts Centre was launched on April 27th 2019 within the now redundant church of St Mary’s in Trimley.
