Overview

From July 25th to the 27th, Roscoff in Brittany will live to the rhythm of the sea when it holds its annual Fête de la Mer. For the first time, the two ports of the old privateer city – the Old Port and the port of Bloscon – will host the festivities.

Throughout the weekend, nautical activities, maritime heritage, exhibitions, concerts, initiations and demonstrations will take place before the departure of the Tour du Finistère à la Voile on Monday, July 27.

Maritime activities include:

Visit of old rigs on the quay

Godille race (A godille is a propelling and directional oar placed at the rear of a boat, it also refers to the technique used for this kind of rowing).

Fun workshops

Concerts

Catering, with profits going to the SNSM on Saturday evening.

Oyster bar from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday and Sunday.
