Overview

The traditional Saint-Pol-de-Léon Sea Festival held in its Port of Pempoul in Finistère, Brittany takes place in mid-august each year. Sailors’ songs, Artisanal stalls, Inflatables, Pétanque, a Religious Blessing of the Sea and Fireworks concert, promise spectators a lively day out.

The sea song aspect of this festival appears to be growing, from just one or two performers a few years ago to six in 2024.

Note: The town also holds its own annual Festival of the Artichoke!

A festival was reported to have been held during the Fête Nationale, 15/8/2025 however no list of performers was seen to be available at time of writing, (September 2025)
