The Homeward Bound Sea Shanty Session is a  singaround held on the 4th Thursday of the month at  7:30p.m. at the Ancient Mariner Pub, 59 Rutland Rd, Hove, BN3 5FE U.K., hosted by the group, Homeward Bound.

“Sea shanties are sailors work songs that were sung to keep up the spirits and morale of the sailors.

With Homeward Bound, YOU get to be the sailors singing and bonding together. With a rum in your belly and hearty spirits Zack Mckraken will learn you traditional and world renowned sailor songs and have you all shanting with fire and gusto EVEN IF YOU FEEL YOU CAN’T SING – it is only GUMPTION and a GOOD SENSE O’ HUMOUR that is required!
