Maldon Shanty Festival

The First Maldon Shanty Festival in aid of the Thames Sailing Barge Trust (TSBT) was held on Saturday, 14 June 2025 with maritime music performances at Hythe Quay and at Little Ships, among other locations.  The event is organised by local group, Mains’l Haul.

Eight Shanty Groups performed at various locations close to the Quay in Maldon during the day from 12 noon and a concert took place in the evening at St Mary’s Church at 7:00pm.

The event, including the Concert, was free but donations for the Thames Sailing Barge Trust (a registered charity) were welcomed.
