Overview
The Northern California Pirate Festival is an outdoor, environmental, Hollywood-pirate themed event, held annually. The event has been successfully run for 13 seasons, with an interruption because of the Covid pandemic. The event is scheduled to return in 2023. In addition to its musical entertainment there are merchandise vendors and food booths as well.
This festival has hosted a number of top, traditional maritime musicians, notably including Tom Lewis and Skip Henderson. Another notable, environmental theater group is The Seadogs, which originated at the Southern California Renaissance Faire.
