Overview

The Historic 1916 Baltic Gaff Ketch Helene; Liverpool’s flagship and community tall ship. The Helene is replacing the Zebu as the Liverpool flagship.
Helene – A Tall Ship for the People.
Helene is more than a historic vessel. She is a platform for education, inspiration and regeneration. This Scandinavian-built tall ship is being reimagined as a British Brigantine and brought back to life as a working symbol of Merseyside’s maritime spirit. We are creating a space where heritage meets opportunity. Helene will be permanently berthed in the Liverpool City Region, offering hands-on training for young people, veterans and communities, while also serving as a venue for schools, charities, businesses and cultural events.
