The annual, traditional sea festival of Saint Jeanne in Erquy, Brittany provides visitors with a number of diverse activities, from old sailing boats and trips out to sea to concerts, fest-noz dancing and local food and drink.

From 11 a.m., a mass is celebrated in the parking lot by the Maison de la mer, followed by on-site catering with a refreshment bar. On Sunday, August 9 2026, the Sainte-Jeanne, an old emblematic sailing boat of the port of Erquy, offered 4 x 90 minute sea outings as part of the festival. Radiant sun, old rigs, concerts and a festive atmosphere brought together nearly 400 people, demonstrating the success of the event.

The sloop, Sainte-Jeanne was launched in August 1994, along with a festival organised by the association “Le Sloop d’Erquy,” its project being : To revive “La Sainte Jeanne”, the emblematic sailing boat of the city of Erquy.
