Shanty Showdown at the Southdowns Music Festival

The 2025 Shanty Showdown at the Southdowns Music Festival was held on Saturday and Sunday 20-21 September at the RAFA Club, Seafront and around the town centre.  All workshops, concerts and sing-a-longs were free.

This year’s Southdowns Music Festival has been a resounding success with many thousands of people coming to the Bognor Regis seafront and Town centre for three days of brilliant music, dance and a lot more.

All the Festival venues were very busy with over 80 different performances with performers coming from USA, France,
Yorkshire, Lancashire, the Midlands and from all over the South of England.

The next festival is scheduled to take place 11 – 13 September 2026

The 2024 festival was held between the 21 and 22 September.

Great music, dance & much more by the sunny Bognor Regis seaside!  Witness the Shanty Showdown event at the Southdowns Music Festival on 23-24 September 2023!  At the RAFA Club, Seafront & Around Town Center.  There will be free workshops, concerts and sing-a-longs!
