Shanty Showdown at the Southdowns Music Festival

The 2026 Shanty Showdown at the Southdowns Music Festival was held on Saturday and Sunday 12-13 September at the RAFA Club, Seafront and around the town centre.  All workshops, concerts and sing-a-longs were free.

This year’s Southdowns Music Festival has been a resounding success with many thousands of people coming to the Bognor Regis seafront and Town centre for three days of brilliant music, dance and a lot more.

All the Festival venues were very busy with over 80 different performances with performers coming from USA, France, Yorkshire, Lancashire, the Midlands and from all over the South of England.
