Whisky Bar Shanty Club

Join us for the inaugural session of The Whisky Bar Shanty Club at the Spier & Wright Whisky Bar!  Tuesday, 21 November, 2023 from 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm at 1/151 King William Road, Adelaide, SA Australia.

• No experience necessary – sea shanties have one person leading the song with everyone joining in the choruses. But if you would like to lead a song or two let us know! We want shanties with easy rousing choruses that we can quickly teach to the singers.
• We want this to be mainly acapella – so just bring your voices! We might provide an instrument or two on some songs, but we really want voices to be the main sound.
• Spier & Wright is known for its whisky but Simon and Graham have all sorts of drink options – see a list in the Discussion.
• Feel free to BYO food – there are loads of takeaway food outlets near the Bar.
• Some parking is available at the rear of the Bar.

We are hoping to make this a monthly event – let’s see where it takes us!
