White Fleet Suite Encore Performance and Album Release was conducted on November 8, 2024 at the Arts and Culture Centre, St. Johns, Newfoundland, Canada.
Fishing off the coast of Newfoundland and Labrador fueled the Portuguese economy & culture for centuries. Their fishing fleet, known to the Newfoundlanders as The White Fleet for its white sails. The Portuguese White Fleet is woven into the folkloric history of Newfoundland; and in particular, St. John’s.
The bond between Newfoundland and Labrador and Portugal is celebrated once again on stage on November 8, 2024.
