Overview
Our 3rd International Sea Shanty Festival anchored in the village of St Martins, NB, Canada, will be taking place the 9-11th of August 2024. Our mission is to recognize and celebrate the stories and songs of those sailors who helped forge nations during the age of sail, and to promote the history and beauty of the St Martins area.
This is the only festival of its kind in Atlantic Canada. The Fundy Sea Shanty Festival attracts performers and fans from far and wide to a wonderful festival in a truly remarkable location which includes a mainstage situated in a natural Amphitheatre, our harbor bazar (venders village), a quant fishing quay, a lighthouse, 2 of New Brunswick’s famous covered bridges, the beautiful Sea Caves, and of course the mighty Bay of Fundy! All of this within a quick walk or trolley ride is yours to see at the 2024 Fundy Sea Shanty Festival!
