Overview
FolkStones was a band from Lauenstein in the Weserbergland. With four-part vocals and two guitars, FolkStones had set out to rearrange folk songs, shanties, oldies, country & western as well as good pop songs and their own pieces – with a very unique sound that results from the four voices and the guitar accompaniment: modern, danceable, sing-along.
The group disbanded on December 11th, 2024.
Not to be confused with the 1968 Irish quartet, The Folkstones.
