Freddie’s Barnet

Freddie’s Barnet are an energetic and amusing folk trio performing old and new songs, from traditional sea shanties to singalong classics and occasionally one or two of their own compositions. Individually they have been singing and performing for over fifteen years, now as a trio for over four. In that short time they have performed at many clubs, pubs and festivals throughout the UK.

Jon , James, Kev have been singing and performing on the folk and pub scene for over fifteen years. They got together four years ago after they met whilst singing together in a shanty group. They perform old shanty favourites but also write their own shanties. They also enjoy giving traditional songs a modern twist, which often raises a smile. James  sings  Jon provides guitar and sings Kev bass with great harmonies. We have performed at Falmouth, Weston Super Mare, Leigh on Sea and Plymouth Shanty and Folk Festivals this year.
