Scuttlebutt Shanty are currently planning the inaugural Ilfracombe Shanty Festival for next June (2026). Performance venues have all signed up, and we already have over 20 bands registered to perform; we expect to have around 30 groups. The event will embrace sea shanties of all kinds, and we will be welcoming the pirate community and visitors from across the UK to come and visit.
