Overview
Cent Z’escales is a maritime song group from Paimpolais in Brittany.
The adventure began in 1996, shortly before BREST 96
It is now composed of six members including five voices, a piano (not common in maritime song groups!), a guitar, a djembé, a tambourine, a violin and a diatonic accordion. Since 1996, Cent Z’escales has scoured many scenes and released several albums; “la bamboche”, “mâle de mer”, “Porc d’attache”, “Prend l’Quart”, “Déferlantes” and the latest “Voix navigables”.
Along the years, Cent Z’escales has integrated into the repertoire the compositions of the members of the group, tours lyricists and/or composers to obtain a mostly personal repertoire, without forgetting the essentials of sailor’s songs, CENT Z’ESCALES sauce!
