Les Marins au Bout du Monde – A Maritime Folk Group from Ploumoguer in Brittany.

“There were only about ten sailors in 2000 when this ship was launched, which was quickly baptised “Les Marins du Bout du Monde”.

The ship has been sailing in Brittany for 20 years now. Some sailors put their bags ashore and new mosses and musicians arrived.

The Captain has taken over command, he holds his men as he holds the wind. This frigate now looks great with a crew of rough sailors, where everyone knows their role.

The songs resonate, hauling, capstan, forebitters, traditional or simply sea songs.

Sharing good humour is the raison d’être of this crew.

You will embark with them on voyages of adventure: those of privateers, pirates and whalers, aboard large sailing ships. The crew of the “Marins du Bout du Monde” comes ashore at sea festivals, sing for the SNSM, hosts meals and assemblies and make a stopover in all the ports and shelters of the coast.

In a word, if you want to get some fresh air from the open sea, face storms, contact our Captain Shipowner President.”
