The 8th edition of this festival, the Fête du Chant de Mer – Kerroc’h, Ploemeur will take place between the 21-23 August 2026

This Escales Marinées (Sea Stopover) event, a festival of maritime song, centered on the site of the port of Kerroc’h, will open this year with a Fest-Noz on Friday. Saturday will be dedicated to concerts on stage of maritime songs, performed by the famous Gabiers d’Artimon, Baskan, Les Godilleurs , Nordet and Capstern.

At sunset, the voice of Sylvie Guiner will accompany the moon as it dips below the ocean; all interspersed with the passages of the Breton music group “the Sonneurs Tchok. ”

On the site, seafood and Breton products can be tasted, Fish and chips, pancakes, fish soup, sardines and mussels, and accompanying drinks.

On Sunday, on the site, we will receive all the singers and musicians who want to share the open stage. “La Tournée des Bistrots”, from Fort Bloqué to Lomener, will entertain the bars and in front of the shops.

“Everything is free, it’s fundamental,” says organiser Alain Evano. “Our funding is provided by the advertisers of the program, by our on-site sales and the small events that we organise throughout the year, with our maritime song sessions. We do not ask for any subsidy, as a matter of principle. ”

The Group “Escales marinées à….” was created following our “marinated party” in Kerroc’h in 2018 when we decided to promote everything related to the sea and water through this group. (Music, photos, books etc…)
