Overview
The Gloucester Shanty Festival is hosted by The Portsmouth Shantymen and is usually held every two years, most recently on the 25th and 26th May 2024.
Unfortunately, it was not possible to find a definitive list of performers who took part in 2015 and 2019, although the attendees at the 2017, 2022 and 2024 events have been updated to the best of our ability. No festival was held in 2021.
This is a large festival with over 20 Acts performing in the City in 2024 at 10 venues, with free entry for all.
One of the performers, Debra Hannis was a joint Festival Director of the first Gloucester Shanty Festival in 2015.
