2026 is the 31st Fête de Saint-Gilles, Organised by the Cercle Celtique de Pornic in Brittany
This event is an opportunity to celebrate the town’s patron saint, Saint Gilles, and to showcase Breton culture.
The Saint Gilles Festival is an unmissable event for all lovers of Brittany and its traditions. It’s a chance to experience a festive and friendly atmosphere, enjoy high-quality performances and sample Breton culinary specialities.
The Cercle Celtique de Pornic invites you to the Esplanade de la Ria for the traditional Saint-Gilles Festival – three days of festivities in the colours of Brittany!
Friday 21 August (from 7.30 pm): opening night featuring sea shanties with the groups Nordet and Jad’hisse
Saturday 22 August (from 5.00 pm to midnight): time for dancing and celebrations! A dance taster session will be held from 5.00 pm, followed by a grand Fest-Deiz ha Noz.
Sunday 23 August:
At 11.00 am: a grand traditional parade through the town centre featuring the majestic Giants of Kenleur and numerous Celtic circles, bagads and guest ensembles.
At 2.30 pm: concerts and performances on stage
